I sat down last night to write this Cyber Monday guide, but the snowstorm had other plans and knocked out the power. Thankfully, all power appears to be restored, and there’s still time to shop! I’ve either used or heard rave reviews from friends about everything on this list.
Ancestry DNA Kit- My cousin and I both did this last year so we could show my grandma some of her own history. She’s always claimed we’re Scottish and Irish, but it turns out we’re…. Scottish and Irish. It was still cool to see it broken down by region though.
Fabric Shaver/Lint Remover- This is possibly the most genius product I’ve ever seen. I don’t own it yet, but it’s in the mail!
I’ve read great things about Elemis, and I actually ordered their cleansing balm and face wash on Black Friday. I’ve never used a facial oil, but people swear by them in the winter!
My mom and I decided to buy a joint Christmas gift for each other this year, and we ordered this T6 Rebel with a 2-lens kit. I’m so excited! My friend Bettina brought her DSLR to an event the other week, and she was interchanging the lenses in order to maximize the shots. They looked good. I know it’s best to shoot in manual, but the lens makes even the automatic setting look way better than anything I’ve ever taken!
I recommend weighted blankets to my clients all the time because deep pressure is naturally calming! They can be really expensive, but this price makes it more reasonable. (If you’re buying for a kiddo, buy one that’s no more than 10% of their body weight.)
My old roommate bought a Roomba for our post-grad apartment, and it was by far the fanciest thing we owned. Plus, we could put an iPod on top to make DJ Roomba a la Tom Haverford. Sadly, he eventually met his demise thanks to all of our long hair. (So maybe make sure you use a regular vacuum occasionally, too.)
I got my first Fitbit about 4 years ago and loved it. I’m actually in the market for a new one, and I love the ones with a heart rate monitor so that I actually get activity minutes for Pure Barre!
There are tons of other great Cyber Monday deals on tech and electronics, but that’s not really my forte so I’ll leave it to the experts.
Most of the clothing retailers are still having their big sales for Cyber Monday so check out my Black Friday post here for a full list!
