I originally intended to make a gift guide for the traveler, and then I realized I travel rarely yet lay on my couch allll the time. So welcome to gifts for the homebody! I’ve included some personal favorite items that I always have in our home as well as some I’ve been intrigued to try.
Denny impulsively purchased our Nespresso, but I quickly had to forgive him because it’s so good. I primarily drink black coffee, but this makes it frothy and delicious. I think it’s my favorite kitchen gadget.
Anthropologie is far and away my favorite place for home decor items. I keep an Anthropologie candle burning in our place from September-February, and they’re worth every penny. They make your entire home smell amazing, and it’s an added layer of coziness. I also love Anthropologie’s latte bowls, and they’re really reasonably priced. I’ve had some of mine longer than I’ve known Denny!
I think comfortable clothing is the foundation of every homebody’s wardrobe. I love soft cardigans, fluffy slippers, and cozy socks. Did I include cat-print pajamas in this gift guide? Yes. Yes I did.
Another major perk of staying indoors is that you can fully pamper yourself with beauty products! I’ve never tried these Kiehl’s face masks, but it’s a great holiday pack. The Herbivore brand is also new to me, but the pretty packaging alone sold me.
I personally haven’t tried essential oils, but I know people who swear by them! What better way to get started than with a beginner’s pack? I’ve heard great things about Doterra, but I know there are a bunch of others out there!
I had to include something from Alice and Wonder, my favorite Chicago boutique, since they have adorable home items. This coffee cup that says “vodka” made me laugh, and they have a ton of others for the liquor aficionado in your life.
